I have used software "sub2divx332" to add subtitles in avi as softsub and in my DVD player i had no problem.
BUT if i want to see it in my laptop with MPC subtitles does not display.
At the option "Play", "subtitles" is grayed out.
In the icons area (right lower near clock) shows only ffdshow audio icon
I have Windows 7 64bit
codec: cccp with MPC Home Cinema 1.5.3.3514
Any suggestions? I want to see the subs (size, font etc) before i transfer it to my DVD player
Thanks in advanced
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

The official divx player should support such subtitles, http://www.divx.com/en/software/divx-plus/player
You could also try VLC, kmplayer, potplayer, smplayer. -
I'll try Divx player although i prefer to have only one and for years i am using MPC.
I hope the solution is something in the settings in MPC.
Anyone else?
