Been encoding since the vcd days, and never had this problem.
I encoded my HD MTS clips from my Sony camcorder using VDub 1000 times, but this time something went wrong. The full encode is about 4-5 hours long, but is showing almost 24 hours. I have tried fixing using divfix and a few other programs. I have tried recoding using VDub, but it only encodes to around 29 minutes or so and then stops. (I will assume that is wherre the error is).
I have also tried using proffesional programs to try to get by this problem
ffmpeg command line
ffmpeg using GUIs
Tmpgenc
Premiere
I am currently trying Windows movie maker and its stuck on 0%
Whats funny is every program can load the file and scroll though, but it always comes up short of the encode.
Does anyone have any other advice how to fix this problem?`
BTW, the original MTS were deleted as I was running out of HDD space, otherwise I would have just started over.
