  1. I have made a guide about this:
    Download Avidemux:
    http://avidemux.sourceforge.net/
    Install Avidemux.
    Open Avidemux.
    Open the FLV video.
    Choose MPEG-4 AVC in Video.
    Choose MP3 in Audio.
Go to the Video Filters -> Transform -> Resize -> Uncheck the "Lock Aspect Ratio" option -> Choose the Width and Height
Save your video as the format you want.
    And that's all.
This is one of the easiest most safe methods I have found. If you guys have a better method using free programs let me know.

P.D.: If you can't open or save the video try converting it first with Freemake Video Converter. I was able to open and save the video after that.

Or zoom with your software player. But you maybe want to play them in full screen on a tiny media device/mobile.

You will get wrong aspect ratio/stretched image if you do like that in avidemux. You should really crop(Pan & Scan) the image instead.

Any resize is destructive. Image expansion should be done in the software player* or HDTV/DVD or Blu-Ray player.
