    I notiice that both 8-core Bulldozers have been sold out on newegg. Is it selling or is supply low? I think the FX-4100 4-core is a good buy if your looking for a quad.

    AMD probably has very low yields of 8 core CPUs right now. That's why there's a glut of 4 and 6 core CPUs (ie, 8 core CPUs with a few bad cores can be sold as 6 or 4 cores).

    Prices have dropped significantly at Newegg for the Phenom II 6 core processors since BD rolled out. Especially the 1090T BE.

    it's not, outperformed by their own predecessor at lower clock speed while guzzling more power at load is embarrassing.
