  1. The original file was a DIVX avi file, when I tried converting it into a vcd compatible, it shows no picture - just sound. (I followed all the steps written in the VCDHELP guide).
    What shoud I do?

  2. Go to Option->Environmental Setting->VFAPI Plug-in and try disabling (unclick) the first: AVI2(OpenDML) File Reader. Leave only the AVI VFW compatibility Reader. Make sure you have dowloaded from TMPGENC site and installed it.

  3. Make sure you have installed the Divx 3 and Divx 4 codecs and try it again.
That fixed the problem for me.
