Please excuse any stupid questions as I'm a newbie. Anyhow, for days I've been trying to convert a .ts file that was pulled from an HD stream as 1080i with four HD-AAC streams. NO program I tried would convert the file, but I found a program called "DGAVCIndex" that pulled the audio streams and I was able to convert them using NeroEnc to PCM 16 Wavs. I then used TSMuxer to put them together but when I was done I had a playable file in VLC (of course), but WMP would not play it with any sound.
The other day I found "Xmedia Recode" and found it was the ONLY program that would convert the original .ts file, however after two conversions to VOB (10hrs each time) I found even though it was complete in sync you could hear occasional pops and clicks during playback. I'm guessing I'm missing some key setting, but I'll post information on the original file and information on my conversion and hopefully someone can help me. I've tried both MP2 audio (this conversion) and AC3 (last one) to no avail. Perhaps I'm missing a key setting in the program? Again I'm a newbie, but I'm willing to learn. Thanks for any help you can provide.

No, I want a DVD video. I've never heard of AVStoDVD but I'll give it a shot. ConvertXtoDVD won't convert the .ts as the audio streams are an unknown format. I'm hoping for a DVD as well as something I can convert to and then mess around and convert to xvid or whatever but minus the clicks and pops. Would you or anybody else know what settings I need in Xmedia in order to convert it properly?
