I read an article today that the long Steve Jobs memorial might be a diversion to keep investors from asking the tough questions regarding the leadership and direction, or lack thereof from Apple.

They had an hour long special on Discovery this past Sunday night. The mythbusters hosts were promo-ing it.
I mean I understand the guy did a lot for the tech industry but my god the nuttyness that surrounded his demise were way way way out of proportion.
I give him credit for making his stuff sell well. But I'd rather give credit to that Woz guy that actually created the guts of the stuff (at least in the early days).
I am NOT an apple fan by any means but I do admit there stuff works. What I like is for them to innovate and for everyone else to make it cheaper and more open to do what you really want to do with it.....Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Exactly. While the manufacturers are trying to build an iPod killer, we end up with a lot more for half the price, hehehe. The last big deal Apple came up with was FaceTime, so now we have Tango ferfree. No need to buy a whole new phone.
