    I downloaded BDinfo, and was very happy with the information.

    However, Id very much like to script automate the process of M2TS->MP4/XviD/Etc..

    Is there a CLI equivalent of BDinfo that will give me the AID of various languages for the sound tracks?

    Desire to discover the English track AID for encoding with Mencoder.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    1st option) eac3to

    2nd option) There exist the bdtools, but I must admit, I've never tested them Some weeks ago, I was too bored , and decided to transform their source-code into Win32 binaries --- play at youw risk

    Code:
    =>bdsplice
    Usage: bdsplice -t playlist [-c first[-last]] <bd path> [dest]
    Summary:
        Given a playlist number and Blu-Ray directory tree,
        find the clips that compose the movie and splice
        them together in the destination file
    Options:
        t N - Index of title to splice
        c N or N-M  - Chapter or chapter range
        <bd path> - Path to root of Blu-Ray directory tree
        [dest] - Destination of spliced clips
    Code:
    =>clpi_dump
    Usage: clpi_dump -vcspi <clpi file> [<clpi file> ...]
    With no options, produces no output (not very useful)
    Options:
        v - Verbose output.
        c - Shows the Clip Info structure
        s - Shows the Sequence Info structure
        p - Shows the Program Info structure
        i - Shows the CPI. PTS to SPN map
    Code:
    =>mpls_dump
    Usage: mpls_dump -vli <mpls file> [<mpls file> ...]
    With no options, produces a list of the playlist(s) with durations
    Options:
        v             - Verbose output.
        l             - Produces a list of the m2ts clips
        i - Dumps detailed information about each clip
        c             - Show chapter marks
        r <N> - Filter out titles that have >N repeating clips
        d - Filter out duplicate titles
        s <seconds>   - Filter out short titles
        f             - Filter combination -r2 -d -s120

    Thank you for your contribution.

    I tried several options in the CLI but could not get it to "work"

    clpi_dump -vcspi F:\BDMV\STREAM\00003.m2ts -c

    clpi_dump -c -vcspi F:\BDMV\STREAM\00003.m2ts

    mpls_dump -vli F:\BDMV\STREAM\00003.m2ts -i

    Feedback requested.

    BTW, I dont think eac3to is what I want to use.

    Most likely, if I need audio, it will be MP3 or AAC... Ill use Mplayer to extract to WAV/PCM and encode to desired format.

    2 ch is fine for my current interest. 5.1 maybe on the horizon.
