  1. Hello,

I'm new to the community, so I apologize if this is mis-categorized.

I am having difficulties installing ffmpegX on my machine. I have a blank password, so there is no way I am mistyping it. Would this be the cause of the error? The msg I receive is:

    ##
WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.

To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

    sudo: 3 incorrect password attempts

    Things I have already tried:

-Logging directly into my Admin account to install
-Deleted prefs and application, then re-downloaded the program and components.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks so much in advance.
