    Hi friends....
    Problem :-
My computer is a little slow I checked that I have following installed

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 2
    Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

All these got installed unknowingly in due course as and when prompted by softwares

Is it so that there may be softwares in the computer which need all three versions ?

    or

if I have any one (the latest version) of these, it would be sufficient for all the programs.....?? and which one ???

  2. Keep all of them. New versions are not backward compatible.

none of those cause a computer to slow down. more likely virus/trojan/malware. keep in mind what's listed in your profile is a slow computer to begin with.

Service pack 2? Your computer is THAT far out of date?

Do yourself a favor and upgrade your computer to the latest updates. That will be at least 5 YEARS of updates (IIRC, SP3 was released in 2008). This would be okay if you were not connected to the internet. However, security concerns should nudge you toward getting updated.

Windows Installer 3.1 is needed for later MS updates.
The C++ redistribs are just updated cores for runtime programs.
