I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good USB Video capture device that can operate preferably under generic UVC drivers (Windows).
Basically, I have a wireless X10 video camera with its receiver. The receiver has composite video out. I wish to connect this composite out to a PC via USB, and then have an application which I am writing in Visual Basic use the incoming video signal. I have done a proof of concept test using an ancient capture card that has composite video In, but now I need to get this working under USB input.
The X10 came with a USB capture device (VA11A1), however, just getting the proprietary X10 drivers installed and working with its own software is a bitch let alone trying to accessing it via VB code. I was hoping to find a more universally supported USB capture device to work with.
Thanks
D.
