Hi
I am wondering if there is a way to play native avchd files (Mts files shot with my Sony videocam) on my Ipad2 without doing any conversion. If someone could help me it would be great. Thank you.

No. They must be converted. Try Handbrake.

PS: use iPad preset.

Note that the iPad screen is 4:3 aspect ratio. 16:9 will show as letterbox.

edDV is probably right, but remux to MP4 and see just for fun. iPad resolution limit is 720p30. AviDemux can do it.
