    Are there any guides and software on the forum that would make it easy to make some mp3 files from some YouTube videos?

    Any suggestions?

    I'm pretty sure you will find online converters if you search for youtube to mp3. Or if you have downloaded the video use the very basic Pazera Free Audio Extractor or Freemake Video Converter.

    Why bother?

    http://keepvid.com/ will do it for you. It uses a java prog to do the actual work.
    Just plug in the URL for the video you want and select the mp3 from list of downloads provided.

    Thanks, everybody ... a couple of the ideas on here worked quickly and smoothly for me! I really appreciate it.

    One other question ... easy way to boost volume that somebody else recorded way too low?
