Why when im burning a vcd and i put it in my APEX 1500 it goes out of sync. When its an mpeg file on my computer its fine and its in perfect sync. Audio and Video are together perfectly. After i burn it though and put it in my player the audio and video is off. Why does this happen? Is there any way to correct this problem. The program i use to burn the cds and make it a vcd is Nero.

The more important question is what do you use to multiplex with? By default I don't believe TMPgenc adds svcd scan offsets to its exported mpgs. If you use this to encode, or any other encoder for that matter, you will probably need to remultiplex your audio video streams to make them fully compliant. Try using bbmpeg to multiplex your streams, its much better than TMPGenc. I have an Apex AD600a and mpgs straight out of TMPGenc always play out of sync but if I use bbmpeg it fixes it every time.
Also you may want to use a better burning program than Nero. For vcds its fine but its not very good for svcds. I would use a program like vcdimager to author your svcd into a bin and cue and then burn that. There are free programs which can burn bin and cues if you don't feel like buying new burning software.
