  1. Ok i have this video file that refuse to play in WMP, realplayer etc. It only plays in VLC and MPCHC, in vlc seeking the video makes it blurry for a sec then fine but in MPCHC it plays without a problem. I prefer to keep all my local video show's in my wmp playlist and its pain when i have to search through the folder to play one file in mpchc when it does'nt play on WMP.

I tried installing opencodecs, ffdshow & K-lite codec pack x64 so far without success. Although the container is avi but windows does'nt generate thumbnail of it in explorer neither can virtualdub recognizes it nor AviFix++. I have attached the mediainfo report so please have a look and tell me what i need to play this file in WMP.

    Regards,
    Sohaib

Try make a "real" avi from it with https://www.videohelp.com/tools/OGM_to_AVI

  3. It's not an AVI file, it's an OGG media file. Rename it .OGM instead of .AVI. Then install a DirectShow OGM reader/splitter. I'm pretty sure Haali will work. WMP should then be able to play the file.

I have forgot to add OGG/OGM to the haali tools page. Updating it.
