  1. i have made 2-3 extended vcds by trying to add menu
    for multiple mpg clips as explained in tutorial written in this forum somewhere but althogh it is accesible in computer media playerthrough cd rom -emulator when i make cd of it its neither recognised by computer nor by vcd player !!
    can any one explain why????

  3. I MADE XTENDED VCD IT RUNS WELL IN CD ROM EMULATOR BUT SSAME THING WHEN I MAKE IN CD-R IT IS INADDESIBLE WHY????

    Here are two possible reasions.


    1.) Your device can only play standards compliant VCD.

    2.) Your devices laser cannot "see" the CD-R because of the dye color. Some DVD drives cannot "see" certain dyes. Have you checked with the extensive DVD compatibily here on this site?


    Rememdy, burn a standard VCD on the same brand and same color disk. If this works, your device cannot play X(S)VCD.

    If the standard VCD fails, try new CD-R dye.

    Imation makes CD-R's of the gold type. These look the most like a pressed CD to lasers. Your best chance is with these Imation 700Megs.

    Verbatium Disks are deep blue and enjoy wide compatibility.

    I think Black CD-R's are also good. Did you know they can handel direct sunlight better?
