I have an rca drc6309 protable dvd player which has region 1 setting can anybody help me to set it region free .please help.

I will not guarantee these will work, since I do not have this player. You can try them. The only change is that you're selecting the "System" page, since "Preferences" doesn't exist. If the hack works, post the procedure in the DVD hacks link for your player.

Many manufacturers are limiting players to only one region these days, so there might not be any way to unlock your player. Good luck.
