I'm fairly sure I know the answer to this (and it's "no"), but want to double check.
I have two mpeg files of essentially the same video material. To remove a channel logo I want to drop in a set of full width horizontal lines and build a composite frame.
It's obviously fairly easy with AVI synth and full reencoding, but can I combine two mpeg streams in this way without reencoding (or with minimal encoding, i.e. based on a reencoding just of the lines I'm adding based on data in the "base" mpeg file)?
