TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 input 264 not working

I tried to load a avi into the subject tool and got this error message...

TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 Could not open the video part of the .... only the audio part can be opened.

I made the avi file using the screen capture program CamStudio with the encoder x264vfw - H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec.
The encoder came with the Win7codecs package.

I have upgraded to the latest TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4. I thought that it would take 264 as input in the latest version??

When I resize the video using Vdub using the same codec to 720x540 (same aspect ratio but multiple of 4 resolution) it now will load into TMPGEnc. Is that a necessary requirement that videos should be in multiples of 4 resolution to import H.264 into TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4??

Hello - I don't have the same product as you, but I have something similar, Tmpgenc 4.0 Xpress.
This program can open a file of the dimensions above without issue. It opened the file through the directshow
source filter. I tried it with the CoreAVC and FFDshow decoder, both successful.
