    I desperately need some help on how to go about editing a video to insert slides/pictures into it

    The video is a presentation which has been recorded. I have some powerpoint slides(which I've converted to jpg's) related to the video that I need to insert into the video at various time-lines.

    Pls note that when the picture/slide is displayed the audio should continue to run.

    PLEASE HELP ME

    a video editing program is required. something like vegas. if you insert slides without also adding additional audio the sound will end before the video and the sync will be off.
