    I am trying to convert a dvd to mpg but no matter what I choose for the audio the output comes out french I have tried both english and french.
    I am using the IFO mode

    Then just rip the disc to your HDD with only English....then open that with VOB2MPEG.

    DVD Shrink is great for stripping out languages from ripped DVDs, or use Movie Only in DVDFab when you first rip it, and select only the language you want to keep.
