I record AVCHD with sony DSC TX9
every site that i've been to says it records at 60 fps or 50 fps.

when i import the clip to my computer it says 25 fps

    what am i doing wrong?

I import my clips to Sony Vegas, Cyberlink, After effects and they all say 25 fps...

how do i fix that ?

    Thanks in advance

  2. 25FPS is correct

    sony website says interlaced

1080i25 (or sometimes called 1080i50) is 50 fields per second or 25 frames per second ie. 25FPS

    http://store.sony.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId...specifications

    Video Mode : AVCHD 1920x1080 (59.94i, Interlace)(Approx.17Mbps) / 1440x1080 (59.94i, Interlace)(Approx.9Mbps) MP4 1440x1080 (29.97fps, Progressive)(Approx.12Mbps) / 1280x720 (29.97fps, Progressive)(Approx.6Mbps)/VGA (640x480)(29.97fps, Progressive)(Approx.3Mbps)

    high-resolution 3.5-inch touch-screen LCD, and 1080i movie capture at 60 frames per second--all in a body that's just 0.7 inch thick

if you look down lower in the specs they list it as.

    4,000x3,000 pixels/1,920x1,080 (59.94, interlaced; 17Mbps), 1,280x720 (29.97fps, progressive; 6Mbps)

    it's 59.94 fields/second = 29.97 frames/second
