Trim hd-video files (.mts) without transcoding

Please suggest me tool for trim hd-video files (.mts) which still maintain original bit rate of video. Same as tsmuxer GUI and adding monitor window for viewing. Thank you so much in advance for reply.

I have already tested Tssniper , it easy to use for trimming or cutting hd-video file. Export video file is only extension of TS. I don't know that this tool can export video file as extension of M2TS or not. Thank you so much in advance for reply.

You could remux to a m2ts with tsmuxer.

You can use TSMuxer to repackage the TS to an M2TS when you are done.

Hi, All I'm looking for is a freeware tool to trim/ cut unwanted video footage and maintain the M2ts format. Having a really tough time any suggestions with an all-in-one software?
BTW I just tried tried tsmuxer and found no guides and sniper but get an error message stating that my "currently used splitter/demuxer Pixela MPEG Splitter does not provide the capabilities required to select audio streams..." (its set to automatic in the DSfilters) Does anyone know which of the 100 or so filters I have listed work best for this>

Install haali media splitter before using tssniper . It only works on AVC transport streams (VC-1 are not supported)

tsmuxer cuts by timecodes (no video preview)

avidemux 2.6 beta should work too

All these free tools are not frame accurate (only cut on GOP boundaries) . If you need frame accuracy, something like videoredo beta, or solveigMM video splitter can do it

Thanks for the help. Been busy but got sniper to work after installing k-lite. (forgot I uninstalled it before a media monkey install during a troubleshoot). Anyway there were several versions of Haali. The Haali splitter (AR) was the one that worked.
I have another question. The export to m2ts is greyed out. My only option is an export to .ts file. How would I be able to export m2ts?
BTW I see what you mean by the inaccurate splitting. It seems only a paid software only handles this at the moment?

As already suggested, remux to m2ts with tsMuxer.

Well, TSSniper isn't frame accurate, as you've discovered. It will seek forward to a keyframe. By trial and error I've found you need to find the spot you want and then back up a few tenths of a second, depending. If you have a few frames of black screen, it cuts much better. That's just how it is. TSSniper is the best *free* h264 cutter, but it's far from ideal. At least it works, and doesn't introduce a bunch of noise. Works well enough for my purposes (removing adverts from captures).
