I am new to mAVCHD, and having a horrible time trying to create a simple menu. My files transcode successfully, but no menu is created. My example below is for a SD-DVD because I can test it faster rather than wasting time encoding to just see if the menu works. In the log it shows: Encoding motion DVD menu...
[17:46:33] SD-DVD menu preparation did not succeed. I had the software set to static menu, not motion, but the log always says "motion" . I don't know what I am doing wrong, or if I am missing some software that needs to be installed. I have multiavchd.exe version 4.1, ffdshow, haali media splitter.
Its probably something simple, but I've spent hours googling without success.
Thanks for any help

What's your player? The reason I ask is that I have a Momitsu BluRay player (I believe this was sold under a different brand name in Canada) and it won't play anything that multiAVCHD creates. If you haven't done so already test your disc in a PC to make sure that it really has a problem.

My player is a Philips BluRay Player. It's irrelevant at this point, as I outputted the results to an iso file, and loaded onto a virtual drive and played it on Roxio Cineplayer. The encoded file played perfectly fine, but there was no menu. Previously, I experimented with an AVCHD burn to DVD disk and ticked off the Welcome screen. This I put into the Philips player, and a screen came up on the TV asking me to choose, Music, Photo, or AVCHD. When I chose AVCHD the welcome screen played, and the tv screen then went blank. On the player the information screen showed "MENU" but I couldn't do anything with the remote control, or any of the buttons on the player.
