I am looking to upgrade my PC laptop with 8GB of memory to increase my digitizing speed. I noticed that I have seen ECC registered memory. I have read up on it and I understand the extra memory checking process's that it does.
Through my research however I am still not 100% sure that my Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2Ghz processor will take advantage of ECC or if the money is worth it for ECC considering what I use my PC for.
