  1. I just bought a new 24 time burner and on the side of the box it said: "Disc size: 80mm - 120mm"

Now I asked someone that worked at the store what this ment, is it the actual size of the disc or is it the size of the disc in minutes? He said that it was the size of the disc in minutes. Is he right?

My other question is I bought some 99 minute CD's and the drive can only see 800mb, I figured that if the drive can burn 120min CD's then it should burn 99 minute ones too. But I was wondering if I could use the option in the software that came with the drive to overburn to 99 minutes?

The software is Prassi PrimoCD Plus 2.0 and has 2 options for overburning.
    1. Overburn for the following amount
Overburn (in sectors)______ <--I fill in whatever

2.Use the following blank disc arbitrary dimension
Blank dimension(in sectors)________ <--I fill in whatever

If it is possible to overburn to 99 minutes what option should I use?

    Thanks for your help.

  2. mm=millimeter
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

  3. mm stands for millimeters. As to Overburning the full 99 min that depends if your writer is capable of writing that much.

    try filling in 85000
this will be overburning about 18min53secs.
