Hello, I'm new here and also not an expert with video. I am making a Flip Book, a page turner where you can read and flip the pages whenever. I have made a small tester to see if it works and all looks OK. My problem lies with me putting it onto my website. They only allow me to upload FLV and other well known formats but not SWF. Is there any software I could use to convert my SWF to FLV without causing any losses, and would I still be able to use the control buttons on the video? At this moment I don't know if my SWF files are compressed, how do I find out?

Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

  2. Not possible. You will lose the navigation and control features. FLV is a video only format. You need a front end or SWF to provide controls

Thanks poisondeathray for your reply. Maybe I will have to find a website as a host and post a link to it. Any ideas where I could find a host for free?

Thank you johndwight2009, for your reply. I have now decided to try the free flash host way, so as far as this post is concerned it is now answered. If I have have any problems I know where to come. Thanks again for your input.
