If they are just images, why not put them directly in the post instead of making us go elsewhere to get them ? To much hassle, sorry.

Generated in what ? They have a funky, early nineties demo feel to them.

    Hi guns1inger

I made a QBasic program that generated plot files [HPGL-2] from various equations, then converted to dxf, then extruded the dxf, then primarily POV-RAY and sometimes trueSpace 3.2 for the rendering

I think the shape of the first one is a little intriguing and that it might would look interesting as a metal sculpture. I like the shape of the 4th and 6th one, I think the 6th one might be better if it had 'Tiffany' style colors. The colors for most of the images seem very subdued and bland.

It might would help me provide better criticism if I knew what the images were meant to be or the purpose. Are they studies? I wouldn't want posters of these to hang on a wall.

Anyways, this is all meant to be constructive criticism.

    re Tearren
    - Yeah I have a few images that I would like to get done as a metal sculpture vis. http://www.bathsheba.com/math/
    - Good suggestion re 'Tiffany' style colors
    - When rendering I used lower "ambient" and "diffuse" lighting - so I purposely subdued the color - it can easily be changed
    - These images started out as studies many years ago - I would like to get some sculptures done - and I will be printing some at 12"x 18" and 24" x 36"
    - I have hundreds of different "vector" images that can be rendered in many different ways - I just posted a few images to see if there were any forum members that were interested in "mathematical art" . . .

    re guns1inger
    - yeah there were a few different versions of a spirograph program that was/is also available as a java applet - though I didn't use that software
