  1. Hello,

I'm trying to convert a .ts file to VOB, but TMPGEnc Video Mastering Works 5 is not detecting any video. When I play the .ts file in Media Player Classic it plays fine (including video), but once I try to convert it, it won't work.
If I go ahead and convert it anyway I end up with a VOB file containing only audio. It doesn't really matter if I attempt to convert it to something besides VOB -- already once I load the .ts file, the preview only plays the sound with no image.
I've actually got two .ts files that are just the same way. One is 3.76 Gb large, the other is 4.36. I have previously (successfully) converted smaller (about half the size) .ts files with this software, recorded from the same source on the same hardware.
Any tips what I should do?? If there is another software out there I should try instead, let me know, but please if possible something that is easy to use, and preferably something where I only need one software and not 3 or 4 different ones with alot of steps.

Many thanks for your attention and all support throughout the years!!

If it's a ts with mpeg2 video you can try hdtv2mpeg2 and then try import the mpg.

Or try convert the ts to dvd with avstodvd, freemake video converter, dvd flick, etc.

If they all fail then tell us what video codec the ts contains. Use mediainfo.
