most likely not for windows 7, it's too old. imgburn has been the top burning app for several years.

  4. Man, that's old alright. I gave up on it I don't know how many years ago when it couldn't find a new DVD burner, IIRC. So I started using Sonic RecordNow instead (which came with the DVD burner). Still use Sonic occasionally, for audio CDs. ImgBurn for nearly everything else.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!

  7. OP: Give up hope, it hasn't been sold in years. If you can find a copy it should work with todays writers(except Blu-ray) if you update the PX engine:

look at prassi ones. they were the original developer of recordnow. a demo might still be available. the latest versions of recordnow were sold by sonic i believe and were 7.21 or 7.22(ibm version).

I didn't have time to do this when you asked me last month.

But here's this: RecordNow Max 4.5, old/archived DVD burning software [DOWNLOAD]

    Prassi ONES is defunct, too.
None of the companies that made Prassi or RecordNow exist anymore.
All that exists is the name "RecordNow", which is used by Roxio for something entirely different now.

    ImgBurn is the better solution.

Yes, it WAS the best burning software...in 2004. If you are using old hardware, it's a great program. Unless you know how to write instructions to the PX engine to recognize new hardware, it's a waste of time. ImgBurn is up to date, and works just as well as RecordNow ever did. Been using it exclusively for more than 4 years.

I still use Prassi Ones. Still the best and easiest software to create audio CDs with CDText.
