    The audio files (WAV 3 ?) of some WMV HD videos are not supported by WD TV HD player. Which tool is recommended to convert only the audio file to for instance WAV 2 or any other that is supported bu WD TV HD player?

    Sorry, it should be WMA 3/ WMA 2, not WAV 3/WAV 2

    It's been some months since I had to do something like this. I think I used Windows Media Stream Editor to demux the audio and video (I had to convert them separately for a friend from something his kid's school provided to Divx/MP3). I remember that it was a real pain to convert the audio. I think I used foobar2000 to convert the audio.
