Is someone able to comment on the below? I'm trying to get the possible conversion out of the blu-ray I'm just curious if the settings I used got me that. Below is mediainfo on the file. It's a 1080p mkv file where I used these settings in ripbot...

    Video - CRF 18

I would have expected a file size that was around twice of what it currently is - 8gb or so.

The Incredibles is animation with great sound, but still it's a cartoon. You're using more than twice the size that I find necessary for animation. Frankly, even 720p is overkill. For a challenging reference encode try an original film source like the The Searchers or FMJ.

    PS
    I use MEGUI.

Cartoons are alot easier to compress than normal movies.

  4. Sure you're not limiting it to size=SL-DVD? eg 4.6gb approx ....
