    Is there a way to convert ASS/SSA subs to Vobsub. I don't care if the colors/font styles are not the same, as long as the position of the subs are the same.

    You can open SSA in MaestroSBT and output SON format subtitles. The SON can be changed instantly to VobSub (IDX/SUB) using Son2VSub.

    You can choose the font/size/position in MaestroSBT. You'll have to fix the colors afterwards using VobSub Configure (comes included with the VobSub package).
