    I've made a DVD-R of some non-copyrighted programs that I want to sent to someone in Europe. Are they going to be able to play it? Do I need to do
    any sort of conversion? I'm thinking of PAL vs NTSC or do DVD players take care of that? Thanks

    Most players sold in Europe will play NTSC DVD. If it involves only one person you want to send it to, than just send it and see what will happen. You can also ask for a model number and than check its specs.
