magnavox dvd recorder decoding help

can anyone help take the regional codin off manavox player or recorder, its a walmart special. or can i buy some sort of filter from radio schak ?????? i know i know. im an idiot. but i had to ask. please help.

Probably not, but post back with the model number. Also you could just do a search yourself on it and if you don't get any matches for unlock codes or hacks for the player (both terms may be used) then probably it can't be unlocked. Very little sold in the USA and Canada these days can be unlocked. But if I remember correctly Magnavox is basically a rebranded Philips and some Philips players/recorders can be unlocked. Again, post the model number if you want some kind person here to do the research for you.

thanks, it is zv427mg9 dual recorder, and i have a mdv2100 magnavox player.. i have recorded all sorts of movies from an apex player that ive had for at least 10 years but it is startin to go bad. so i bought this new player and its not working.
