    Please excuse me for lack of my knowledge.

    I installed Broadcam Video Streaming Software. Could you please tell me some cameras which I could connect to my laptop ( through USB or wi-fi)?
    Also any other suggestions/comments on this software are welcome.

    Broadcam Video Streaming Software has their own forum. Have you asked which camera works best with their software there?

    First thing you will have to find out is to make sure that your pc has a fixed IP address. Mine does not.

    Have you tried it with your laptop camera first?

    Sorry.. didn't know about their forum. Would try there.

    You can always fix a static IP address. I did that and tried with my laptop webcam. It works. Just the quality of the camera isn't upto the mark. That's why I asked.
