  1. And when you were encoding before, did you run both the first pass and the second pass? Two pass encoding requires that you set the codec to Twopass 1st pass, encode the video, then set it to Twopass - 2nd pass and encode again -- for each video you encode. Otherwise it won't work right.

    Yes I did...Set up the first pass and then the second pass. So what will be the next step to get the target Quantizer? I only see the quantizer in the zone option, and then I set it to 3.00...But it gave me a file sometimes over 600MB...Not sure if this is what you are talking about jagabo...

  3. Leave the Zone Options alone.

    Did you do what edDV suggested? Set the Encoding type to Single Pass. Then, it the button below it says Target Bitrate press it and it will change to Target Quantizer. The in the box to the right of the Target Quantizer button enter the value 3.
