chroma keying with wax

hi. I recently downloaded wax 2.0e, and saw that you can chroma key with it. Can you chroma key a video that was not originally with a green screen or blue screen, where you can remove the background?

If you don't have green/blue screen material you can look at alternate modes of keying, such a difference keying, however it is harder.

I would suggest you look at cinegobs keyer, which is also free, and supports various keying methods, as well as rotoscoping, garbage mattes and other techniques.
