  1. I have a DVD that played fine in my old player, but doesn't in my new player. Tried to rip it and reburn it, got this error while ripping:

    try cleaning the disc with dish soap and warm water. check for scratches you may be able to buff out. if it still is unreadable try a different drive. still no go throw it away. make sure to only buy high quality blanks like some taiyo yuden and verbatim, stay away from the cheap stuff it will bite you in the end.

    Try cleaning the disc or a different drive.
