The one thing this story doesn't mention is the price point for the upcoming SONY VITA portable system. The VITA basic system will be 250.00 which is what the 3ds sold for initially.

The VITA looks to be a killer system with DUAL analog sticks and a wicked screen. Not to mention an UNCHARTED game that looks to be a must have game.

I think Sony might have fired a warning shot at Nintendo in the portable market with the Vita price point. Looks like NINTENDO did the blinking this time.

I guess I'm actually wanting Sony to win this round as I think a fully functional dual analog handheld gaming rig would be the best way to get full ports onto a portable system. And with "near ps3" graphics as is being touted for the VITA you won't be missing much graphics wise.

Edit - sorry I've tried copying and pasting the cnet story link twice now but I can't seem to get it to post with an actual web page. Anyway for the next few days it should still be a main page headline so just scroll down cnet.com to find the article.
