Hi,
I have several home videos in mts format (from Sony HDR/XR cam) and would like to author them to DVD with menus.
The intended menus are pretty simple : Option 1 to play video1, option 2 for play video2, option 9 to play all. Nothing too fancy.
Should I convert these files to e.g. mpeg2 then use e.g. GUI for dvdauthor, to add the menu then convert to DVD?
I searched the tools section (https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/authoring-bd-hd-dvd) and was not able to find any (free) tools that is able to work with mts files. multiAVCHD, however, does a good job in joining the mts files (without menus though) and subsequently converting it to DVD.
Can anyone advise on how I should go about adding menus to these mts files, what tools (preferably free) and thereafter converting it to DVD?
Thanks !
