Windowa Media Center

I recently installed a Happauge Colossal TV tuner to my HP Pavilion, the software it came with is WinTV v7 and I have that working fine. I would like to have more recording and extensions options, I opened Windows Media Center but it is claiming that there is no properly installed TV tuner, even though I can watch and record perfectly fine through WinTV. Any suggestions on solutions to WMC or possibly some other universal software that will give me more options and more intensive options. I don't mind pay software if that's the route I have to go. Thanks for any input.
