What is the workflow to overlay a radio broadcast with the corresponding television video?

For instance, i have the radio broadcast in mp3 format of a football game and would like to replace the audio of my 720p mpeg2 file and keep everything in sync.

    thanks.

Since the audio and video will probably proceed at slightly different rates, best to sync audio play by play.

If you have Womble (you can get a fully functioning trial for 30 days) lay the mpeg2 file in the video timeline and the mp3 file in the audio track.

Play it back using the audio in the mpeg2 file as a guide where to cut and shift the mp3 audio file to get it in sync. In otherwords the audio in the mpeg2 file becomes a "guide track"

The final edited mp3 track will look like a series of grabs with blank parts in-between - once you are satisfied first mute the audio in the mpeg2 track by right clicking and selecting audio - mute and then export as a new mpeg2 file - no re-encoding of the video as Womble will do a stream copy only reencoding the audio part.

Or you could do it in any mpeg2 editor like Vegas etc and many others..
