  1. I hope this helps everyone. It takes me along time to convert to my blanks and I found a way that it is quicker for me.

I put my .avi downloads on a DVDRW, play it in my standalone Pioneer Blu-Ray and put the blank DVD in my standalone Panasonic burner that converts it where it will play on all DVD Players.

    Hope it helps

So you are "recording" in "real time"...not converting.

  3. 54, I'm still just so clueless about "A LOT" of stuff. It is real time, but when I use converting software it takes a really long time. (ConvertXToDVD) It probably has to do with my computer.

My computer is Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 2, Intel Pentium 4 CPU, 2.40GHz, 1.00GB of RAM. I don't no a lot about it so is it the RAM that is killing me or all of it ?

I know most of you guys have really kick butt computers.

Try Freemake Video Converter, very easy to use:
Step 1. Open Program (Ha Ha)
Step 2. Click on the +Video Button
    Step 3. Find avi file
Step 4. Click To DVD Button
Step 5. Choose ISO or other options

Shouldn't take very long. I choose ISO (because it's more compatible with all of my players) and then burn with IMGBurn.
