No MP4 Audio Playback with Media Player Classic

Hi all,

I have just installed v1.5.2.3086 of MPC. I am trying to save MP4 streaming videos from a pay site which I am a member of. I can view and hear the audio of streaming videos in IE 9. The site gives me the option to save the video to my pc, which I have done. On playback with either MPC or WMP the video is fine but there is no audio. I have the K-Lite Codec Pack but I'm not sure which tweaks to apply (if any). I'm not sure what the next step is - - maybe the VLC media player?

I am running Win 7 Pro 64-bit.

Find out what audio codec is used -- try MediaInfo. Then get a decoder for that audio codec. Or, enable that decoder within MPCHC's or ffdshow's options.
