Hi all. I'm a relative newbie and probably know enough to make problems for myself... Here's my issue that I'm hoping someone might be able to help with.

I use a TV tuner stick with my PC to record shows in Windows Media Center. I then convert from .wtv to .dvr-ms using WTV Watcher, scrub it automatically with Lifextender to cut (most) commercials. That leaves me with an .dvr-ms that I then use DVRMStoMPEG to convert to .mpg.

Everything up to DVRMStoMPEG is automated, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

Since these files are huge I've been running them through RipBot264 to crunch them into manageable h.264 .mp4 files. I get the end result I'm looking for with every show but one, the F1 races.

If I play the original .wtv file, or the .mpg file, the audio is fine through the whole file. Commercials and during the actual race. VLC, WMP, the audio is there.

But when I set the file up in RipBot and select Preview, I get audio during commercials and *no* audio during the actual race. Sure enough, if I convert it anyways, there's no audio during the race, but I get to hear all the McDonalds commercials I might want.

RipBot seems to not like F1, because every other show I've recorded to date is just fine.

I've figured out that if I run the file through Windows Movie Maker and convert it to a .wmv (which the audio is just fine in), then convert it in RipBot, the audio is just fine. But this is an extra few hours and an extra step I'd like to cut out of the workflow.

Can anyone tell me what the issue might be with RipBot picking up the audio for certain files? I've attached the information about the file from MediaInfo, which is in the RipBot Tools folder. Thanks for the help.

Tim
