A work colleague has a number of .iso images on the server. He wants to copy the VIDEO_TS folder off to get access to the .VOB files.
So far, he's been burning a dvd and then ripping it.

Whats a good application out there which will allow him to mount an iso image and copy the vobs without having to burn a disc?,

And.. what program do you recommend to rip all the VOBs into one long avi video file?

Use DVDFab passkey and just open the dvd and then go to the BluRay/dvdplayer and open up the folder structure and choose what to copy..

  6. Daemon Tools will let you mount ISO images as a drive letter.

If those ISO's are on a server, I agree with aedipuss, open up ISOBuster and extract them from there to your HD. Don't even need to mount them and the app understands VIDEO_TS folder info and lays it out for you easy.

ISOBuster isn't free and Daemon Tools is if that means anything to your co-worker.

  9. Isodisk is a good alternative to Daemon Tools.
