Hi. I bought an in-dash DVD player for my car a while back. It has an SD card slot and plays Divx files, and I wanted to load some videos up onto it. The advertised resolution is really strange, apparently it's 1440x240. That obviously doesn't seem right. I divided 1440 by 4 and came up with 360x240. Whether that's right or not I don't know, but it seems a lot more reasonable. What would be the reason for that odd resolution?

Question #2: I have some video files in DiVX/XViD format that I want to reconvert to smaller files (still in DiVX) closer to the native resolution of my player (mainly just to cut down on file size so I can fit more onto my SD card). What would you guys suggest would be the easiest/fastest way to go about that, and what resolution should I aim for? I've been out of the loop for so long with conversion tools and whatnot. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
