I have a DVD video that came from an .iso file and when uncompressed left me with a VIDEO and AUDIO folder. The Audio folder is empty but the VIDEO folder has many .VOB files and and several. IFO and .BUP files

Is there a FREE non restrictive app that allows me just to select the VIDEO folder and then merge all the files together into a viewable compressed video format, all in one step?

    Check the "Tools" section?
Maybe not in one step, but you'll find several ways/app's to get the job done.

I already did check the TOOLS section. I got pretty frustrated and peeved at what I (didnt) find and how there is not ONE app that does what I want or even work with my x64 Win 7 build. This kind of reminds me of the old days when you would rip a CD by using one app into a WAVE file. Then you had to convert the .wav file into another format eg. mp3 by using another app. And finally another app to burn to CD. Maybe it's just me, but all these extra steps seem rather archaic

AVI DeMux loads all the VOBs after you load the first one.

  5. Using AutoGK you can load either the IFO for the title or the first VOB and the rest in the sequence get loaded automatically.

Freemake Video Converter ... just click "dvd" , select video_ts folder, wait a minute, choose title/s ... then select "avi" ... make a few changes if required and let it go to work.

Many applications work under windows 7 64 bit but check your not using a "non-administrator" account ... make sure they install under the program files (x86) folder.

AutoGK, DVDx2, FairUse Wizard, Gordian knot, Simple Divx, staxrip ... all used under windows 7 64 bit here.

Now that several app's have been suggested to you, I hope you report back to let us know which one worked, and maybe why you thought it wouldn't work as you reviewed the "Tools" listings.
