  1. Dont you hate when this happends, well last night I went to blockbuster and rented a few dvd's I got home all excited because I was ready to watch the movie with my popcorn all hot, when all of a sudden you pop the dvd into the player and it starts playing the credits, last person forgot to "rewind the dvd" fu**, so then not to damage my dvd player I have to take it out and put it on my dvd rewinder, by the time the dvd gets rewind I already wasted 10 minutes of action I could of already been seeing, and my popcorn is already cold and just because someone didnt rewind the dvd last time they return it.. I wish there was a way to tell if the DVD was rewinded already, So next time please rewind your dvd's...

  2. when that happens i just play them in reverse. subtitles are a must though because the backwards audio sync is usually all messed up.

  5. What is even worse is when someone has recorded 5 mins of a totally useless talkshow (Is there any other kind, BTW) in the middle of the DVD!!! Ruins the evening!

What I hate is when someone with a crap DVD rewinder rewinds the darn thing too tight and it keeps ejecting and flipping layers. Then I have to spool it out rewind, resynch and then I can finally wtch it. The popcorn is friggin' mouldy by then!

Are you guys all crazy? I never heard of anything like that. You should change your rental place-of-choice. I use blockbuster. Their dvd's are rewound by them after rental, that way you always get a rewound dvd.

By the way, I also found a way to re-use old dvd's and cd-r's. Put a piece of scotch tape over the hole. After copying to it, just remove the tape to "copy protect" it again.

I also assume that everybody knows they don't have to wait around for software to delete files on cd-rw's. 10 seconds in the microwave on high is usually sufficient.
